The Maryland Bowhunters Society has established various chapters throughout the state.
These chapters are an excellent opportunity for you the Bowhunter to get actively involved
with other like minded bowhunters in your area. Through the year the MBS may host various
booths or youth shooting events where volunteers are needed to help. Our members are
great people who all share a common goal, promoting a positive message about being a good
role model and good sportsmen through the world of archery. One of the greatest issues we
face as hunters is the public misrepresentation of us and our great passion of bowhunting.
The MBS believes by representing themselves as positive role models in the community, non
hunters while they may not care to hunt, can be educated on our heritage and the sound
science with hunting. The MBS also actively promotes youths with Archery. We heavily support
the NASP and sponsor many youth shooting events throughout the year.
As a bowhunter, it is a great opportunity to socialize and make some great lifelong friends.
